The Script | First Issue!

Week three has gotten started and hopefully you’re all getting into the swing of things. Unfortunately, I (Chloe) am very slack and so haven’t properly introduced myself or the Script.

First things first. I’m one of the publication managers and you would’ve heard of me somewhere or sometime; I’m in fourth year and I like spelling. It’s pretty much the only thing I’m really good at. Other things I’m good at: well, let’s just say I’m a work in progress.

I was supposed to post about the first issue of the Script ages ago, no excuses as to why I haven’t done so already; anyway, the Script will come out every two weeks, so the next one will be out — you guessed it — next week. Keep an eye out for it! Anisha and I put a lot of effort into making it pretty and keeping it current, and it would be nice to know that there’s an audience out there. To the right of your screen, there’s a nice little rectangle that happens to be the size of a thumbnail for each new issue of the Script, and if you click on that, you’ll be able to read it. In addition to that awesome side panel JUST for advertising the Script, Anisha and I will have a new blog post up just so that you all are aware. If it’s right in your face, you can’t miss it, right? Right?

APSA Touch Rugby – 12th March 2010

Hey guys,

Just an update on what was emailed to you lot on your uni email inbox-es:

APSA’s first sporting event of the year is:

TOUCH RUGBY – FRIDAY, 12th MARCH 2010 at AUCKLAND DOMAIN.

This year it’s going to be bigger and better than ever, thanks to free drinks (courtesy of Redbull), a free BBQ, and pumping music down the domain! It’s FREE, fun, and you get to chill with all your fellow Pharmies making the most of the last few days of sun!

Important things to note are:

Each year will have a team of 7 with no less than 2 girls on the field at once and you can use rolling subs.

1st years wear BLACK

2nd years wear GREEN

3rd years wear BLUE, and

4th years dominate in PINK (thanks Arnold & Moe)

Whether you’re out on the field rep-ping your year, or on the sides cheering them on, just come down and be a part of the fun :)

There’s a massive trophy for the winning year and this year the stakes are higher than ever because Arnold & Moe have introduced the brand new  PHARMACY SPORTS CUP!! So the points from the 4 sports events of the year will be tallied up and the winning year will be engraved onto the cup!

So as your sports reps say, Hit the ground running!
